Chicken Bacon Ranch Macaroni

 

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
    • Season the chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
    • Cook chicken in the skillet until heated through and slightly crispy on the edges. Set aside.
  2. Cook the Macaroni:
    • Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Make the Cheese Sauce:
    • In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
    • Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to form a roux.
    • Gradually whisk in milk, and cook until the sauce thickens and is smooth.
    • Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
    • Mix in the ranch seasoning packet. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
    • Optional: For extra creaminess, stir in sour cream.
  4. Combine:
    • Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce, stirring until well coated.
    • Gently fold in the cooked chicken and crumbled bacon.
  5. Serve:
    • Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.
    • Serve immediately for the best texture.
