Directions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Sauté onions in oil until soft, then add curry powder and turmeric, cooking for another 2 minutes.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in apricot jam, vinegar, raisins, salt, and pepper.
- Squeeze excess milk from bread and add to the meat mixture. Mix well and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Beat eggs with the remaining milk and pour over the meat. Place bay leaves on top.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and set.
