Bangers and Mash with Stout and Onion Gravy

Instructions:
Prepare the Mash:
Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and return to the pot.
Mash with butter and milk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Cook the Sausages:
Grill or pan-fry sausages until cooked through and browned. Set aside.
Make the Gravy:
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook onions until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually add stout, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme. Simmer until thickened, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve:
Plate the mashed potatoes, top with sausages, and pour gravy over the top. Enjoy!
