Mini Bobotie Meat Pies

Instructions:

Preheat Oven: Set to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the Filling: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook onion and garlic until soft. Add ground beef, curry powder, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Cook until beef is browned. Stir in raisins, almonds, chutney, and soy sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes. Let cool slightly.
Prepare the Pastry: Roll out pie crusts or puff pastry and cut into circles to fit into a muffin tin or mini pie dish.
Assemble the Pies: Press pastry circles into the muffin tin or mini pie dish. Spoon the meat mixture into each pastry.
Prepare the Topping: Mix beaten egg with milk. Brush over the top of each pie.
Bake: Cook for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your Mini Bobotie Meat Pies!
