Instructions:
Preheat Oven: 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Filling:
In a skillet, cook ground beef or lamb with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in curry powder, turmeric, raisins, almonds (if using), chutney, soy sauce, and cook for 5 minutes.
Mix in milk and beaten egg. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Prepare the Pastry:
Roll out pie crusts or puff pastry and cut into circles or squares to fit into a mini muffin tin or pie dish.
Assemble the Pies:
Press pastry circles or squares into the muffin tin or mini pie dish.
Spoon the meat mixture into each pastry shell.
Brush with beaten egg.
Bake:
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
