Chinese Pepper Steak with Onions

Directions:
1. In a bowl, mix the sliced steak with cornstarch, soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper. Toss well to coat the steak evenly.
2. Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and swirl it around to coat the pan. Add the steak and cook until it’s browned on both sides. Then, remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the sliced onions and cook them until they are softened and slightly browned.
4. Return the cooked steak to the skillet, then add the water. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
5. Serve your delicious Chinese Pepper Steak with Onions over rice or noodles, and enjoy!
